Yes but thats a bit like Nicola Sturgeon declaring Scotland independent

with no legal basis whatsoever to do so.

Means nothing legally although obviously its stirring up a whole world of sh*t.

I agree also re the vote. Given all the hassle/grief it seems highly likely that mainly those truly motivated by desire for change will have turned out whereas most who are happy with the status quo probably thought better of it!
