FWIW I don't think it comes down to being a 'leftie'. That's

far too simplistic. What is currently wrong (and has been since the majority of the population bailed out the bankers who gambled and lost) is a lack of fairness. I'm not naive enough to believe we can ever have a fair society but I currently fall into the 'leftie' camp because I want to some a Govt who has a genuine aim to turn us back to looking after the majority and not just the few. I think it's in everyone's interest too. A fairer society will be a happier society and at the moment I don't think (in my 54 years) I've seen this country less happy (if it's possible to measure it). I don't think everything about Corbyn and Labour is that great but at least the bloke does seem to have some sort of desire to try and make things better for all. Trouble is that since Brexit we seem to have become polarised. If you're left-wing, regardless of degree, then you're a pinko-liberal, BBC loving, anti-patriotic communist. Well I'm not. It's just that I'm someone who wants to see a society that is supportive of the majority and particularly gives my kids generation a bit of a hand because they're the first generation since the first world war who have see things worse for them and my generation should be ashamed. Finally (apologies for the soapbox) I can honestly say that this is by far the worst govt in my lifetime led by a bunch of self-serving, arrogant and nasty bastards.
