Police question

Looking at today's police cars, they are pimped up up with the most advanced equipment going, with cars either being big BMW's or Audi's 4x4's

With the police constantly moaning about cutting costs and dwindling police numbers, why don't they cut down on using high expensive cars with space age technology? Each car must cost about 100k plus!!

We need to go back to the old days, when police used normal cars to go to A to B to sort crime.

Save some money police! And use the money saved on cars to employ some more personnel.
