"There's abuse from both sides"

That sentence tells part of the problem of the current and recent climate in my opinion. Both sides. Two sides. Polarisation. Not individuals with opinions on specific policies but polarisation to one of two perceived sides. Dumbing down of politics. In fact you see it with everything these days. You're A or you're B.
