You just can't stop lone nutters getting their hands on weapons and doing something like this if they are determined to do so.

You just have to make your intelligence as good and well resourced as possible and try and reduce the risk at source by educating and removing the motivation for people to do this sort of thing.

One thing I would do though is impose an immediate recission of citizenship and residency rights for anyone proven to have gone to fight for Isis or attended terrorist training camps etc. The fact that we have allowed or will allow hundreds of people to come back and live amongst us in the uk who are known to be a threat to us is absolutely ridiculous.
