I scared the f**k out of myself probably six or seven years ago

Chasing losses by doubling up and doubling up again and again playing black jack. Absolute madness and I was a small fortune down.
I can remember my hands shaking moving the mouse to 'deal' the final time - if I'd lost, I don't know what I would have done - I would have been out of cash with a massive whole to try and explain to the wife - I was absolutely s**tting myself.

'Luckily' that hand won and I just about broke even, instead of being a four figure sum down. It scared the life out of me and the first thing I did was set a modest affordable limit so as never to be in that situation again.

It's scary what can happen.

My initial advice is to set delete your accounts or set a low weekly / monthly limit or even ask your Internet provider if they can block you accessing then somehow if you're worried about opening new accounts.

Then seek some professional help - it's great you've realised there is a problem. Good luck.
