Yes, true but i still believe that had they sacked Neil early enough this season then

promotion would not have been beyond us.

As it was they refused to listen, delayed, left it until it was too late and even then (when there was still half a chance) sacrificed getting a new manager bounce by appointing Irvine and making it clear we were already preparing for next season.

Now we have no choice but to go back to the drawing board in a way but the fact that we need to "rebuild" should not detract from the fact that the board's failure to act in a timely manner this season was appalling.
