Yes, the idea of talking about things as "friends" seems good, but then again it seems eminently more likely that the US will use its America First policy to simply allow Russia to do a lot more than it would've done otherwise.

I think we can expect Russia to be a hell of a lot bolder than it already is. I can't see that being very good
