Recruitment has been the biggest error this season

The trick to good recruitment is being able to use the scouting network to replace the outgoing player with a player of similar or greater quality at a much cheaper price. Take Brady for example, we could have got upwards of 12 million or so in the summer but decided to keep him here. We are now entering a January window where I think we'll be lucky to get anywhere near that for him. And in the event he is sold, do we have a good enough recruitment department to replace him adequately?

In fairness to Neil Adams and McNally they got it right when we came down from the Prem first time around. The squad was well balanced and able to handle injuries. We had great options off the bench too.
