Out of interest, do you ever look beyond stats

A manager could do really well somewhere because he inherited a great group of players (AN arguably), or took over a no hope team with financial constraints and therefore was always likely to "fail" (Lambert at Villa arguably).

Stats don't tell the full story surely?
