Personally I think we suffered badly by being unable to attract

players when we went up into the Prem.

For whatever reason "Little old Norwich" couldn't and didn't sign the better players we were going for. Then last January we took a risk and payed big money for Naismith and Klose. Both looked good signings at the time but looking back especially breaking the bank to get Naismith seems a bit stupid.

On the WOTB we use the word "wages" a lot and at the end of the day football and being able to attract footballers to our club is mainly about paying the players good money. We are a self sufficient club who pay pretty well for this league yet can't compete financially in the Prem.

Lambert did well going down the leagues and buying young hungry players who came here desperate to make a name for themselves, in some way we are still doing that with the youngsters we keep buying (and not playing).

How to we ever financially compete in the Prem?

We either get to the Prem and stay there or we extend Carrow road and increase the matchday revenue or Delia has to sell to a Billionaire. Preferably a billionaire who falls in love with the club and is in it for the long term and not someone like QPR, Cardiff or Hull Etc have. (I realise Delia wont sell)
