Yesterday I said................

"A lot of the players have been relegated twice or more from the Prem, have gone as far in the game as they ever will and have made a lot of money. So why do some fans think the team is going to perform any better on a consistent basis?"

and then had a thought... it's not just some fans. Why does the manager think some players are going to play any better on a consistent basis?
