I think the last day of the window was a disaster

From what I heard there were a couple of players who should have moved on and we were due to sign 2/3. Both the deals for the Norwich players leaving fell through so we couldn't sign the incoming players. Like you say that has left us with a lopsided squad and some very well payed subs.

The loan system change hasn't helped us either. I think I'm right in saying usually after the window shuts Championship teams can still loan players in and out but this season the rules changed. We would surely have got rid of a couple on loan and got a couple of youngsters in?
