The game show host will only show you a goat.

Not a car.

If you pick car he shows a goat. You swap and get a goat.

If you pick goat 1 he shows you goat 2 and you swap and get a car

If you pick goat 2 he shows you goat 1 and you swap and get car

Hence 2/3 time swapping is beneficial but 1/3 times it's not.

If you don't swap you have 2/3 chance of losing.
