It's a crap argument anyway

surely teams that have long-serving managers generally do so BECAUSE that manager is being successful, not the other way around. Hard to see how hanging on to a manager doing his job badly progresses any club forward. I guess maybe if you keep a crap manager around long enough the odds are he'll fluke it right by accident - temporarily - at some point (although we've already had that fluke season from Worthy two years ago so he isn't due another any time soon).
