Stability and continuity

Neil Doncaster says:
"...the stability and continuity which has served us so well since Nigel took over in 2001 is the route to the long-term success which we all crave for Norwich City."

And for once even Mr Worthington himself agrees with Mr Doncaster:
"It's no co-incidence that the team's (sic) that have stability and continuity are the ones who move forward."

Of the squad that were named last night Colin, Hughes, Jarrett, Etuhu, Thorne, Johannson and Rehman were not on the books at the end of last season. In addition Earnshaw was with the team yesterday, and Robinson is unfit and not currently available.

It appears that McVeigh, Johannson and Rehman will be gone by the start of next season

Since the start of last season Bentley, Jonson, Helveg, Ashton, Stuart, Lisbie, Davenport, Marney, and Wright have come AND gone.

Danny Crow was tried and then released.

Of the team that won the championship Edworthy, MacKay, Rivers, Easton, Cooper, Harper, Briggs, Holt, Francis, Brennan, Neilson, Hammond, Roberts and Abbey have all gone.

(I have tried hard, but I do not guarantee that these lists are exhaustive)

That is a phenomenal amount of transfer activity.

I ask again "if stability and continuity are so important why do we persist in employing a management team that clearly do not believe in it?"
