Greg Halford

I see that Archant are now posting reasons why we are unlikely to sign Halford. As the U`s have now got a big money spinning away tie at Chelsea or Everton there is added weight to what they say.

What is so frustrating is that the chance was missed to sign him in the close season. I was posting on this website at that time touting Halford as a recommended buy and having spoken to Steve Foley in February last year that we should be taking a punt with him Mr Foley stated that he was one of a number of players that Norwich were keeping tabs on. Who do we end up with instead? Need I say more. Why is it that genuine supporters are better talent scouts than the so called professional scouts that our club appear to be paying?
