agree with quite a bit of that

but Worthy still has to take a bit more blame than you imply - for example the only way for Safri and Helveg to settle into the team was for them to play games. Whereas Worthy bottled it and stuck Edworthy and Holt straight back in - and then stuck with Holt for an age, despite his complete ineffectiveness.

Likewise this season - yes we were faced with Holt and Francis leaving. But Worthy didn't sort out their replacements in time over the summer - JJ, Etuhu and Robinson are now going through the 'bedding in' process in January, rather than August. No-one else is to blame for that.
