To be trite: how people react to criticism depends on their personality

Personally, it doesn't bother me much. I recognise that I have imperfections. I know if I've f**ked up and hold my hands up if anyone actually finds out ... Others react differently - usually by sulking and a few angrily dismissive. I find that the angry ones are without exception incompetent and the sulkers are competent, but need encouragement as well as criticism.

As for any rumours and jokes spouted on this board, I very much doubt they get close to those circulating in the dressing room - these are young, working class men who - as Suggy points out - take the piss out of each mercilessly. It'll happen whether we're here or not.
