This is the point ^^^ I don't support my club so I can say

wow look at all the money we are making. It's a sad state of affairs that when you ask why we need to be in the premiership the first thing from everyone's mouth is "the money."
I'd rather see my team in a competitive league, playing exciting football and winning matches. Give me a win against Bolton over a slim defeat against Man City any day.
The extra money will just go on player fees and wages - not on improving the fan experience.
Perennial strugglers with the only joy of "surviving" or a yo-yo club with a promotion challenge every couple of years? I know which I choose.
