1) He started the whole thing off, remember, by poisoning John Arryn which meant Ned Stark had to be Hand of the King, and framing the Lannisters for it, which got the Tullys riled up against the Lannisters. He precipitated the whole story.

Last seen persuading Sansa to marry Ramsey Bolton. She may not see that as having been wonderful advice, at this point. Having killed Lysa, he is now Lord of the Eyrie. He promised Cersei to bring the Eyrie forces in on the Lannisters side; more likely is that they will show up late and join whichever side is winning at some point.

However I expect things to start going a bit south for him this season (figuratively - I think we next see him back in the North).

2) en route to Oldtown to learn Maestering (and more besides).

3) Gendry was last seen rowing a boat away from Stannis, having been helped to escape by Davos.
