Some of those are rape cases, actually

Look, I'm a lawyer, I spend my life assessing evidence. I thought something didn't smell right about that original verdict, just like I thought something didn't smell right about the verdicts on Sally Clark and OJ Simpson and the lovely Rebekah Brooks.

There seems to be a school of thought that because he's a CONVICTED RAPIST, A RAPIST DONT YOU UNDERSTAND??? no-one is allowed to exercise their critical faculties and lift an eyebrow and say "doesn't smell right to me". I don't agree with that, I think people should be free to say that without being shouted down or called rape-sympathisers or indeed called disingenuous. Juries get things wrong in some cases, this may be one of them. Let's see what the new evidence is (my guess would bd Facebook or similar messages from the girl).
