is greatly neglected in my humble opinion.

It's a handy and necessary discipline when working at the very limits of currently observable science.

Most theories (including evolution) are constantly being refined and re-evaluated. Dogmatic unquestioning belief in any single scientific theory can be every bit as damaging as radical theology.

It's important to question everything & then make up your own mind (to paraphrase Plato)
