This whole debate about creationism vs Darwinian theory

Now I was never taught the ID theory at school. However, I was taught evolution in biology and was also taught the concept of creationism in Religious Education. I hasten to add that was the first two years of RE which was fantastic and about different religions each term, with no preaching which I'm told crept in if you took an O level in it (GCSE).

Surely that's fair enough ? As long as they are taught as theories and not fact I wouldn't mind. Can't see many people really seeing the creationism story as anything but fiction to be honest. Father Christmas is more believable.
