Rather than wasting the only sizeable amount of money we are ever going to get, use it to pay off the manager and let a new manager try out some of the youngsters and fringe players. In the summer, the new manager can then get in any new players he needs with the rest of the cash.

Delia and co will have a lot to answer for if he brings in a load of journeymen and we finish in midtable. Their continued backing for Worthington has just about used up any good will I had for them over the excellent work they have done in the past for this club.
