That's fair enough. I agree with you on the loyalty issue (see, KJR)

However regardless of how much I was getting paid, I wouldn't like to have to do my job in that kind of atmosphere, and I certainly wouldn't be confident about doing it well.

As I see it, the problem is they're scared to try anything creative in case it doesn't come off, in which case they'll get grief from the crowd. As a result, they're not producing anything creatively, for which they're getting grief. The expectation seems to be that unless they're playing like Brazil week in week out they will get grief.

There is a difference between a football club and a restaurant though - if a restaurant won a Michelin 5 star award, you wouldn't feel ecstatic about it, you wouldn't have a happy glow about you for weeks on end, you wouldn't trundle up to City Hall to see the certificate being presented.

Too many Norwich fans at the minute are happy to take the good times like 2 years ago, but are quick to moan at the not so good like now. And, let's face it, it's nowhere near as bad as it was 7-8 years ago...
