Sorry Arganth, don't agree with you

I can't remember where I read it now but there was a fantastic article about a year back on supporter "loyalty" in football. It went on to explain what a bunch of fools we are to devote such a big proportion of our lives to a club and it's players. The reason, well how much loyalty is there in return to us? How many times has Worthington listened to the overwhelming concerns raised and responded in kind? Never - in fact, doesn't he "not care what the fans think"?

The board are running a business and they don't have any other interest apart from profit making. The players, well that's the big one isn't it! Where's the loyalty with players these days!? They couldn't give a f**king rats arse that you might have to take out an overdraft just to get your season ticket or attend many games. Why should they, they're being paid the sort of money that sees them living the high life in a comfy house and sweet little car.

Which leads to the original point about the players responding to the crowd. Wouldn't a few thousand pound in wages per week motivate you to perform in your role? I can tell you now that I bust my arse just to earn a crust in my own home, so the very thought of some wealthy young prick with an attitude finding reason NOT to perform because of a drop in noise around him, is pathetic.

These players are well looked after and well rewarded. There's thousands of players who play non-league and local borough league football who play their hearts out for f**k all, and they probably get an attendance of anything between 5 and 1,000. They hardly walk off in a sulk because the crowd is quiet.

It's the same old point again but we are the ones who pay for NCFC to run as a football club, and if we have concerns about the way its being operated then we have every right to complain. If you eat a s**t meal at a restaurant, then you complain at your money being spent on bad service. Why is paying to be entertained by your football club any different?

But loyalty?? Yeah, ask the likes of Ashton about that one.....
