The Ashton deal
Norwich paid Crewe ?3m for Ashton, plus now an extra ?1.5m to Crewe, plus 700K compensation to Ashton.
During the time Ashton was at Norwich he probably cost 500K in wages, plus agents fees, signing-on fee's, new contract fee's etc. So Norwich probably only making about ?1m profit in total.
