somebody rightly pointed out the other day though

that singing the national anthem is a bit of a new fad. struck me as very weird that it was sung before the playoffs i thought "that's very weird" and then i did a pause and thought "why are they playing the national anthem?" i mulled it over for a while and the best i could come up with was that it was more appropriate than the japanese national anthem or gimme all your loving by zee zee top.

anyway jeremy corbyn probably doesnt know the words to either of them so its a moot point.
