Another app I like to use sometimes is SpoofTrader

Again, it's not linked to any broker accounts so it's just fake virtual money, but it uses past data from unknown companies to play out the share price movement over various time periods. It's a good/fun way to get used to technical analysis and looking for trends/patterns in charts.

Beware though, trading without real money ignores most of the psychology and emotional intelligence required for trading with your own real money. It's pretty eye-opening and fascinating how the mind works so differently when things get real so to speak - so bear that mind when virtual trading that there's another very important element missing compared to when you start to trade for real
