Which is why I just can't get on with the 'Just pay whatever they've asked' argument. Delia is worth @50M apparently and has chipped in (proportionately) a lot of her time and money over the years - but most of all she is a real fan. And I'd far rather that than go the way of Blackburn (or Bolton or Ipswich.... etc.)

I'll always follow Norwich and I'll always be a fan, but it ceased to be a 'Sport' when Sky, the Champions League and Bosman caused the perfect storm which made it entirely uncompetitive for the majority of teams. In sport you sometimes win and sometimes lose, but we play and watch it for fun. There's something terribly ungratifying about playing simply for the chance to compete with those with much larger resources than you.

Which is a long way of saying that while I will always love Norwich, I've fallen out of love with football.
