This transfer window and the way prices are going making me

Ever so slightly fall a little bit more out of love with football.

The sums of money being spent are truly grotesque. The only winners are the players who get paid even more disproportionate amounts for playing a game. Sums of ?8m now buy you a bang average championship left back and can't buy you a striker who a year ago was playing in league 1 for MK Dons.

All a bit sad really.
