Eating Out

Most of the hotels have numerous restaurants. We had two favourite meals, one in the Mon Gabi Ami in the Paris; you can get a table that looks over the street if you?re lucky. Nice steaks from $21.95. We also had a lovely meal in a Mexican restaurant in Treasure Island, about $40.00 including drinks.
Couple of diners on the strip, called Coco?s and Dennys, good food and fairly cheap for a good breakfast.
Also visit the Hard Rock Caf? for a great burger and chips.

Shopping
Desert Passage Mall next to the Aladdin, Inc Gap etc.
Fashion Shopping Mall up past Treasure Island (about 120 shops, inc Abercrombie, Macys, Gap etc).
Premier Outlet Mall. Cab rides about $8.00 but 140 shops, Inc Levi?s, Wrangler, Gap and many more, plus places to eat.

Also worth visiting

Coca Cola and M & M?s shops for novelty value, and the Harley Davidson Caf?.

Getting About

Take some comfortable shoes, as you will do a lot of walking.
There is a monorail, which runs from the MGM Grand all along the strip, with numerous stations on route. $3.00 each or $20.00 for 10 trip ticket or $30.00 for a 3 day unlimited pass. (You can go through the barrier then pass it back)!
Taxis are fairly cheap, but you?ll only really need one to and from the airport, and to the Hard Rock Caf?.
There is a free monorail that runs from the Excalibur to the Mandalay Bay, stopping at the Luxor, we used it a lot.

If you get a chance go to the Tropicana Business Centre, down near the Spa and swimming pool. Speak to Ryan and introduce yourselves, he may get you free tickets for the show (he offered them to me anyway)!

Nothing else more to say really but have fun, and remember to tip everybody!
