The sound on it is superb. The picture quality on Bluray is pretty damn good too.

Re 4k quality, I should be able to answer that once my broadband is upgraded to fibreoptic on Friday, at which point I can view 4k content as I'll?have a fast enough connection to stream it.

I'm guessing you've seen the picture quality on shop TVs already, in which case you'll have seen how sharp 4k looks in comparison. I'm working on getting some kind of wireless HD transmitter to get Sky in to it too. The Freeview HD on the TV isn't as sharp as it would be through a Sky box connected via an HDMI lead, but from the many (and I mean MANY) reviews I've read on this TV it upscales HD via the HDMI ports to an extent too, therefore improving HD quality too.

I'd say yes, long term it'll be worth it, but with minimal 4k content available yet it might be worth waiting. There are some things being filmed in 4k now, and Netflix will be streaming stuff in 4k soon too. As long as your internet speed is good enough to handle 4k then you can benefit there too.

It's an impressive bit of kit, but I might ve got it a few months earlier than really necessary!
