The problem is to anyone born after 1980 our

"Rich heritage" of appointing internal candidates is f**king useless. Megson, Deehan, Hamilton and yes, Gunn.

The problem I have is that the board have yet again a been swayed by emotion. If we employed an outside consultant to assist in the best business decision, there is no way we would have appointed Adams. In what other industry would someone get a top job having never performed at that level?

As others have said it's a massive, unnecessary gamble to take
