I have confidence in Neil Adams. He will be at least OK, probably good.
Time to move on now - decision has been made. Now there's lot's of interesting stuff to happen before the dust settles and we're ready for the start of next season!
Hard to measure the individual worth of a manager when so many interacting factors are involved in club success. A manager's previous track record is far from a guarantee of future success. About 5 years ago, an "academic study" (sorry can't remember which university) did a detailed analysis of predictors of newly appointed managers' success in the top 4 English leagues - and what could only be characterised as LUCK was the most important factor by far. For what it's worth.
Just hoping Neil Adams can break the curse.
