- and I think people are being amazingly complacent about how likely it is - it would be for the first time in decades.
I have to say I try to not get annoyed with posts like this from you, but do find it a struggle. I don't have a 'duty' to support a manager as thick as the current one. But that's beside the point - what I REALLY object to is the suggestion that as fans we're "only making Worthington's job in boosting confidence - for that is all that's missing in a lot of circumstances, Ashton's for example - that much more difficult."
With that pal you can, if you don't mind me saying, f*ck right off. I was at Fulham, and sang my way through the 6-0 defeat. Was I making Worthy's job more difficult then? Or did the players somehow foresee my current disgruntlement and start playing like donkeys then because of it?
You may wish to blame the fans for the way the team are playing, but don't expect anyone else to agree with such a bizarre view. Most of us have been MUCH more perceptive than you and saw exactly what is now happening coming. We have been saying for months that this was coming, and were told we were being childish / fickle blah blah blah and that it would all turn around.
Well sorry mate, but it's becoming increasingly clear that YOU were wrong and WE were right. You may not like it, but don't blame us for it.
