Compensation Lost
Sorry guys but the fact that Villa think they have got Lambert for nothing is being too widely reported for it not to be true.
The simple fact is that Lambert had a clause in his contract allowing him to speak to other clubs and our refusal was a clear breach of that. The only thing that might happen is Villa give us a few quid to shut us up and send us on our way.
Quite embarassing really but let's face it, not the first time we have messed up.
