Football 'fashion' may be in our favour!

I think current football fashion and the football bandwagon could well be good for us in keeping Sir Paul. It amazes me when the likes of Liverpool are after Martinez and Rodgers. Martinez is particularly strange given that for 75% of the season Wigan were struggling at the bottom of the league and due to a final fling in the last quater he managed to get them out of the trouble he'd originally put them in and yet he's promoted as some football guru (particularly by the so-called football pundits like Shearer). Sir Paul tactically out-thought Rodgers in both games last season but again Swansea are lauded as playing the 'beautiful game'. We on the other hand are led by what I think some people see as simply a manager intent on hard work rather than the outstanding tactian he is and for some reason we don't get a reputation for beautiful football. I think Moyes falls into the same camp. He does get acknowledgement for the job he does at Everton, but again I don't think he fits the image of the 'technical genius'. All of this is good for Norwich and not so good for Lambo. Similar story with Holty for England. I know there's a good argument for him not being the future of England but I still reckon that had he scored all those goals for a top six or any of the current teams in vogue he would've got the call. From a selfish point of view I hope I'm right with Lambert.
