A bit premature for a number of reasons........

It's a title fight............I think you have to give both fighters a bit longer with so much at stake.

Its a title fight..........Fans pay good money to see a fight.......If we are THAT worried about protecting fighters we would never let them take blows to the head in the first place........

I also think Thaxton had some success and the fact it was stopped without even a knockdown or the ropes holding him up is strange.
Especially early in the fight......

I am not saying he wouldn't have lost but it seems we are turning boxing into a different sport.
