Tactical changes should have been made before half-time

before the 4th goal went in. Not just taking players off who were playing badly, but using the bench to change the system to at least respond to what was happening.

Also, what does it say to the rest of the squad. Think of Micky Spillane who played well in the friendlies at Palace and Wigan, who was sitting there on the bench watching two central defenders, a right-back and two central midfielders having a pretty poor game. He must have been thinking right, he's going to pull one of these f**kers off in a minute andI'm going to get my chance. But instead he remained in his tracksuit for the full 90 minutes.
