Some realism.
Firstly we have to be realistic. The global economy is shagged , the UK economy is shagged and football finances are in a world of pain - and that includes the premiership.
So we are not going to have much money in the short or medium term and it will be tough for anyone to invest in the club in the current climate. Also, the gates alone will not sustain a club anymore. All clubs are in the same boat.
We have to take that on the chin.
However, our current players , including loanees and players out on loan are good enough to compete in the Championship if not necessarily good enough to push for promotion. The failings of the team are down to Roeder. I also find it very telling that the wheels have completely fallen off since Clark left.
The most frustrating thing for me is the silence from the board. No one can deny that Delia and co have saved the club before and have given much to the club, but managerial appointments have been a disaster apart from Worthy - who maybe outstayed his welcome a bit too long.
I just wish they would come out and say something and address the situation.
Saturday is going to be very ugly indeed.
Snakey.
