I think another point worth raising is....

that the Turner's leaving and the credit crunch may have impacted on the playing budget between Lupoli signing and Iversen becoming available. As such Glenn was never able to complete his plan. His not having a plan B is a bit poor, but then when you have such a small (and poor) squad and a limited budget, you can't change everything in one go.
