I asked on here a while back

whether we would rather be Portsmouth or Norwich. And got laughed at for suggesting that anything other than "Portsmouth" was the right answer. Of course a nice ground is all well and good, but I'd rather be in Division 2 and have a ground like Plymouth's, than be in Division 3 with ours.
People will vote with their feet. There were just 2 coaches yesterday - I can't remember when it was that few - there were just over 19,000 in the ground for Scunthorpe - this is a football club. If the important thing is a nice place to sit on a Saturday afternoon then we might as well all stay in our living rooms.
Over the year I've gone all the way north to Sunderland to watch our players not bother, all the way south to Plymouth (twice!) to see our players not bother, gone to Wolves with the flu and nearly frozen to death to watch our players not bother. All it does is make me miserable. I've finally got the message - I can't take it any more.
