But it is seriously, unbelievably harsh to look at Colchester's continued success, and somehow conclude this must mean Parkinson had little to do with it. The way they've continued to progress has been remarkable - but Parkinson's the man who kicked it all off, and who was getting very rave reviews from pundits and managers as a result.
