Tim is running the London Marathon for St Lukes Hospice

Hi Fellow Wrathers

A few years ago a good friend and fellow City fan Brian from the Capital Canaries took me along to Park Run. I got the bug and aside from a few months in 2020 when I got injured playing hockey, I’ve been running a few times a week since then. I ran two marathons last year, Brighton and Abingdon, and in June last year I got the big news that I had got into London via the ballot after a number of unsuccessful attempts.

I started training on Boxing day and have been off the beer since 1st January in preparation for the big day.

As my place is not one I have gained through a charity, I can pick who I would like to run for and I’ve gone for a local charity, St Lukes Hospice. Details are on the just giving page here

I’m also organising fund raising through my retirement as after 27 years at Bravura Solutions I’ve decided to hand in my laptop in April to spend more time gardening and on the golf course.

I know times are tough but if anyone has a few spare coins that could be thrown my way for St Lukes, it would be much appreciated.
