The recruitment policy is a complete mess

Club has no one else to blame than themselves

Crnac is an abysmal signing whichever way you look at it, nobody including the head coach seems to know what position he actually plays or what position he was signed to fill in the side yet we splashed up to £9 million on him. Even the club he played for couldn’t believe there luck.
Appears we are now going to sign another winger come attacker to fill the same positions Crnac was meant to fill. Once he is in the building we will have spent £15 million plus on two players. On top of that we now have two players on loan who are also meant to play in similar winger come attacking positions.
We then signed 2 left footed centre backs and have tried to press gang one, who is a quality centre back in the making, into the left back spot despite signing a left back to play there.
We’ve signed an injury prone midfielder on loan and surprise surprise he keeps getting injured so much so that we then had to sign another midfielder come attacker on a free transfer to plug gaps and he’s been made to play as a striker on more than one occasion.
No clear strategy other than we can’t recruit from lower leagues in England at any costs.
