Don’t think you can look at it like that

I think you always have to bag promotion if the opportunity arises because if you don’t then you don’t know how the side might be torn apart by the next season and then you are starting again.

I also think the way this side plays is much more sustainable were we to get promoted. Yes we’d need to sort the defence out but I think a couple of shrewd signings could do that.
