I'm not sure local journalists were "just trying to do their job"...

in these days of click driven revenue there was clearly a point where they were trying to create controversy where there was none/little. Now, you can argue that the club could have reacted differently, rather than draw up the drawbridges, but I think their view that relations with local press should be give and take, rather than s**tstir and shake, was fair. MA has yet to have any controversy and we don't know how he and the club comms would react if the local press tried similar with them. I suspect it would be quite different but at the moment, and until it happens it's just conjecture.
