What you really need, is a transfer budget that can swallow duds

there are players that don't work out at every club, even those with billion pound budgets.

Our "big" signings have to be good or we're f**ked as our budget only replenishes itself if they're good enough to be sold at a profit.

Hopefully the new ownership regime takes some pressure off, but nothing compared to promotion and parachute payments
